The most popular and number one market for ante-post season soccer betting, this market also stays open through-out most of the season. Because of the fluctuation in results and points of the teams – their odds can move up or down significantly and so value can be found both at the start of the season and during the season.

The favorites to win the Premier League Outright this season are last season’s champions Manchester City @ 1.67.
The outsiders are Liverpool @ 5.00, *Manchester United @ 8.00, Chelsea @ 15.00, Tottenham @ 15.00 and Arsenal @ 26.00.
The rest are listed from Wolves @ 151.00 to Cardiff @ 1501.00
Each Way at a place 1, 2 pays 1/3 so Manchester United are value here. Chelsea and Arsenal both have new managers while Tottenham have been very consistent in recent years so all are worth a gamble but you can find more value in the Straight and Dual Forecasts some of which are listed below.

In these markets you choose which teams will come first and second. For a straight forecast the winning order of the two selected teams must be correct, for a dual forecast either winning order of the two selected teams is a winner (dual forecast odds listed in brackets).

Top Goal Scorer
Who will score the most goals in the Premier League season is as popular as the Win Outright market and it is no surprise that Harry Kane is the bookies’ favorite @ 3.25.
Last season’s surprise winner was Mohamed Salah and he is 6.00 to repeat the form he showed last season.
Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is 3rd favorite @ 7.00
*Romelu Lukaku @ 9.00, *Sergio Aguerro @ 9.00 and Gabriel Jesus @ 11.00 make up the outsiders.
The market then has Alvaro Morata @21.00 to Wilfried Zaha @ 251.00.
Each way at placed 1,2,3,4 pays ¼ of the odds so Roberto Firmino @ 26.00, *Eden Hazard @ 34.00 and *Kevin De Bruyne @ 101.00 look good value to perhaps sneak into 4th.
Premier League Winner and Top Goal Scorer Doubles
In this market we can select who will win the league and who will be the top goal scorer. Five players are listed with Manchester City at the top of the market:

*Mohamad Salah & Manchester City @ 10.00 – an exact repeat of last season.
Sergio Aguero & Manchester City @ 11.00

The odds in this market are not generous at all and are only fractionally better than the outright Top Goal Scorer market so there is only one recommended bet here for this market.
Season Handicap
We love the handicap markets at Betplanet.net and this is one we will be looking at closely for our ante-post season bets because all of the teams are listed @ 16.00 so there is sure to be some value.
Premier League 2018-19 Season Handicap(William Hill offered at 27th July)
The bet works as follows – when the season is over the bookmaker then adds the points they quoted in the handicap at the start of the season to the total points each team actually finishes with. The team with the most points after these handicap points have been added is the winner.
The handicaps are:
*Manchester City + 0 points, Liverpool +4, *Manchester United + 8
Chelsea + 10, Tottenham +10, Arsenal +14, Everton +22 to Cardiff +46
So for example if:
Manchester City finish with 86 points and + 0 points are added. = 86
Liverpool finish with 76 points and + 4 points are added. = 80
Manchester United finish with 79 points and + 8 points are added. = 87
Chelsea finish with 75 points and + 10 points are added. = 85
So Manchester United would win the handicap season bet.
Relegation / Finish Bottom
Of course, we can also gamble on who will get relegated and or who will finish bottom (odds listed in brackets) of the league and the favorites are Cardiff @1.80 (3.00), Huddersfield @ 2.25 *(5.50) and Fulham @ 2.62 (6.50).
Outsiders are *Watford @ 3.00 *(8.00), Brighton @ 3.25 (9.00), and Burnley @ 4.50 (15.00).
The remainder of teams are Bournemouth @ 5.50 (26.00) to Manchester City @ 1001.00 (price not given).
*Everton are 34.00 to get relegated and considering their poor start last season and their recent recruitment of Watford’s ex-manager Marco Silva and the recent signing of Watford’s 21 year old Brazilian striker Richarlison to answer their Premier League prayers this could represent a good value bet – especially when Leicester are 13.00 and the rest are 9.00 or less.
Relegation Trebles
Relegation Trebles are also available where you can predict which three teams will all get relegated.
The lowest price is 11.00 for Cardiff, Huddersfield and Fulham to all get relegated through to Leicester, Southampton and Cardiff @ 251.00
Other Markets
The remaining markets are Top 4 finish, Stay up, Bottom Half finish and Top Half finish but the odds are so bad that unless you support a particular team and feel very strongly they might do any of the above then betting in these markets is both risky and very low in profit – the only one that we semi-like is maybe Newcastle to finish in the top half @ 3.00.
